Our commitments in 2022

Our commitments in 2022

As in prior years, we are supporting organizations that provide value to the Greater Fall River community in the form of programs devoted to youth sports and other activities that shape healthy minds and bodies.

Since 2014, the Truesdale Health Foundation has fostered and supported health and wellness by making grants to local organizations and to students training for health care related professions.

Organizations we are supporting in 2022

We chose these groups because of their commitment and track record of providing young people opportunities for healthful activity. When kids develop positive attitudes toward exercise, and learn athletic skills and team values, they gain personal strengths that can stay with them for a lifetime.

Foundation President Marvin D. Berman, M.D., said, “The value that our 2022 organizations provide the Fall River community is proven. Some of the kids in the programs we first supported at our founding in 2014 are now achieving in school and in their personal lives – helped by what they learned years ago. That’s the kind of long-term impact we believe in and why we exist as a Foundation.”

Grant application process
We consider written funding requests from health-related organizations and from individuals pursuing health care related professions. Requesters with a demonstrable connection to the Greater Fall River area can send a proposal brief to: Truesdale Health Foundation, 1030 President Ave., Fall River, Massachusetts 02720. We consider all requests and if interested contact grant candidates to submit a formal full proposal.
