Specializing in gastroenterology, Dr. Shana is in practice at Southcoast Physicians Group – Gastroenterology in Fall River.  He is on the active medical staff at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Shana received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, and completed his residency in medicine at the Brown University Medical School Affiliated Hospitals. He completed a clinical and research fellowship in Gastroenterology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching affiliate.  He has served as an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Shana is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.  He is an elected Fellow member to the American College of Gastroenterology and a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.  He is Chairman of Gastroenterology at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
